I created Impact in Motion because organizations doing meaningful community work deserve a fair chance to be funded.
Growing up, I saw firsthand how community programs can create opportunities, build confidence and help young people imagine a different future. Those experiences shaped my belief that access to the right support can change the direction of someone’s life.
Today, I use my experience in grant development, nonprofit programming, partnerships and communications to help community organizations turn strong ideas into clear, compelling and fundable plans. With a degree in journalism and a professional background spanning education, sport and community development, I bring together strategic thinking, meaningful storytelling and a practical understanding of what it takes to deliver programs successfully.
As a woman of colour and member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, I am especially committed to helping organizations serving underserved and equity-deserving communities access the resources they need to grow their impact.
